The Renaissance Portrait by Vin Weathermon is an experience to be lived. Each portrait is created to become an heirloom that conveys the absolute best qualities of the subject: timeless and elegant. To achieve this fine art quality, we want you to look your very best.
Here are some tips for a timeless look and the best outcome:
1. Be groomed and fully rested.
Glasses: wear them if you must, but Vin prefers to have lenses removed if frames must be in the portrait.
Concept Elements: you may be asked to bring along something of importance that may be used in the portrait. While this is not a guarantee it will be in the final portrait, you are welcome discuss this prior to the creation session.
Not sure? Use your camera! If you are unsure about any aspect of wardrobe or concept element, snap a smartphone pic of the clothing or object with "flash on" and send it along and we'll be happy to help you decide.
Note on "Thematic" attire for Masterpiece portraits: While the best results are always achieved with formal attire, those wishing for a bold and unconventional look may choose to wear other attire that suits the theme. Generally speaking, the same tips for a timeless look still apply: monochromatic/solid colors, no distracting complex patterns or brand logos, etc. Please discuss this with Vin prior to your creation session date.
